Bill Henderson

Upon moving to Greenville in the summer of '09, Coach (Bill) Henderson turned his passion for kids and teaching baseball into his full time profession, by opening Henderson Baseball Academy that very September. Married to Carrie with 3 children ( Taylor, Caroline and Leigh Ann), Coach Henderson is a former #1 Draft Pick of the Detroit Tigers and National Championship winning high school coach from Miami, Fl. Over the past 20 years, Coach Henderson has coached and worked with hundreds of young ballplayers - dozens of whom have gone on to play college and professional baseball. While in Miami, Coach Henderson founded Five Star Baseball Camps; an award winning summer camp program that attracted 300 players each summer. In his 4 years at HBA, Bill worked with hundreds of players in camps, lessons and travel ball teams. At West End, Bill will continue to work with hitters, pitchers and catchers of all ages, and heads up the academy's travel ball division and programs.
